How to Use GP43 Potting Mix
INSTRUCTIONS
You can use GP43 with confidence in most indoor and outdoor planting situations, including natives, as an all-purpose mix. Seek advice from a professional when you have specialty plants or upgrade to our ultra-premium UltraGrow Platinum Potting Mix.
This mix complies with the requirements of AS 3743 for a premium grade potting mix.
Always water your plant in well after potting to remove excess air from around the root zone and to activate the biological elements included in GP43.
For best results, help your newly potted plant settle into GP43 potting mix by soaking the roots in a natural seaweed liquid from our Ultragrow Bio-Liquid Range.
Bags can be stored sealed out of direct sunlight for up to 12-months.

WATERING

FERTILISING
The soluble nitrogen content of this mix is higher, and its ability to consume soluble nitrogen is lower than that of regular mixes. A balanced fertiliser has been added at the time of manufacture, but additional fertiliser is recommended for optimal growth.

Everything included in our blends have been selected for very specific reasons be it to improve the air-filled porosity, increase water holding capacity or feed the plant and micro organisms. Everything plays a part in creating a growing medium designed to encourage healthy plant growth.
Most commercially available soils and potting mix blends are comprised of a combination of loam soil and poorly composted green-waste supplied by the recycling industry. In the composting process, liquids are added. Though highly regulated, the quality of the finished product can be highly variable and inconsistent compromising the finished product.
Thorough watering is required after planting to activate the microbes and nutrients incorporated in UltraGrow Blends. These essential nutrients last up to 16-months, while the bio inoculants make this a living medium, resulting in healthy plant growth for many years. A balanced fertiliser has been added at the time of manufacture, but specialist fertiliser may be required for optimal growth in some applications.
